東京2026年1月23日 /美通社/ -- 2026年1月21日，國際科學技術財團(The Japan Prize Foundation)公布了2026年日本國際賞(2026 Japan Prize)得主。Cynthia Dwork教授（美國）榮獲電子、信息與通信領域的日本國際賞。Shizuo Akira教授（日本）和Zhijian "James" Chen教授（美國）榮獲生命科學領域的日本國際賞。

在本年度的日本國際賞評選中，Dwork教授因其在構建倫理數字社會方面的開創性研究貢獻而獲此殊榮，其研究涵蓋差分隱私與公平性等領域。Akira教授和Chen教授則因其在先天免疫系統核酸感知機制方面的發現而榮獲殊榮。

為評選2026年日本國際賞，財團邀請了全球約16000位傑出科學家和工程師提名本年度獲獎領域的研究人員。財團在電子、信息與通信領域共收到107份提名，在生命科學領域共收到185份提名。本年度獲獎者從292位被提名者中選出。

關於日本國際賞

日本國際賞設立於1981年，其動機源於日本政府希望創建一個國際公認的獎項，以推動全球科學技術發展。在眾多捐款的支持下，國際科學技術財團於1983年獲得了日本內閣府的認可。

日本國際賞授予全球那些取得創造性、突破性成就，推動其領域發展，並為全人類和平與繁榮做出重大貢獻的科學家和工程師。所有科學技術領域的研究人員均有資格參評，每年會根據科學技術發展的當前趨勢選擇兩個領域。原則上，每個領域各有一人獲獎，獲獎者將獲得證書、獎章和獎金。每屆頒獎典禮均有現任日本天皇和皇后、政府三大部門首長及相關官員，以及社會各界代表出席。
