Shenk's酒廠最早由瑞士門諾派農夫John Shenk於1753年在美國賓夕法尼亞州創立，後來於19世紀改名為「Bomberger's Distillery」，並在20世紀中期再次更名為今天的「Michter's Distillery」。正是這段悠久的歷史背景成為Michter's 「Legacy Series」系列的靈感來源。
