日本大阪2024年1月12日 /美通社/ -- Airporter, Inc.和MUIC Kansai(Kansai Innovation Center)在關西國際機場推出日本首個機場外值機服務。該服務旨在簡化出境旅客的行李托運流程，將行李從酒店（或指定寄送點）直接送到日本的出發機場，然後再送至國際到達機場。

針對從關西國際機場出發的JAL用戶的概念驗證(PoC)項目取得了成功。Airporter和MUIC Kansai打算未來與國際旅客訪問日本經常選擇的亞洲主要航空公司建立合作。

Airporter提供機場和酒店之間的行李當日送達服務，再將行李運送至國際機場，讓旅客實現了從酒店至海外到達機場的「免提旅行(hands-free travel)」。
通過將Airporter的行李當日送達服務與航空公司提供的在線值機相結合，這項服務有助於實現登機程序的數字化，減少長時間排隊的情況。
為了迎接2025年大阪-關西世博會，一開始將重點在大阪推行該服務。為了驗證這項服務的可行性，從2023年7月開始，針對從關西國際機場出發的JAL用戶進行了為期3個月的PoC演示。

未來發展計劃

為了迎接2025年大阪-關西世博會，Airporter和MUIC Kansai打算加強各項服務並全面擴大服務範圍。雙方首先將擴大與國際旅客訪問日本經常選擇的主要亞洲航空公司的合作關系。
他們的目標是開發可以安裝在酒店、車站和其他地點的專用設備。這將使乘客能夠在市內的特定地點辦理行李托運手續，從而在旅途中可以方便地在指定地點托運行李。
