該酒店將利用幾位大型零售投資者的資金升級為高標準酒店。這將令每位投資人都能獲得黃金簽證 (golden visa)，並在五年後成為葡萄牙公民。葡萄牙「黃金簽證」計劃是部分歐盟「定居到入籍」計劃中的一項。根據 2022 年 11 月議會投票結果，該計劃將至少延續至 2023 年底。
