新加坡2022年6月6日 /美通社/ -- Pho3nix Sub7 Sub8 Challenge 刷新歷史紀錄，由 Kristian Blummenfelt 成為首位不足 7 小時完成鐵人三項全能比賽的男士，而 Kat Matthews 成為首位不足 8 小時完成賽事的女士。賽事包括一場 3.8 公里長的游泳、180 公里長的單車和 42.2 公里跑步的連續比賽，其中 Blummenfelt 以 06:44:25 的驚人時間完成，而 Matthews 則以驚人的 07:31:54 完成比賽。根據此成績，Kristian 和 Kat 成功在體育成就史書中刻上姓名。

這項歷史性活動在德國的 Dekra Lausitzring 舉行，經過在全球詳盡搜尋最快路線，包括時區、氣候、風力、海拔、賽道表面和佈局等多項因素後，游泳在附近的 Lake Senftenberg（森夫滕貝格湖）進行。
