千葉縣將在2020年東京奧運會和殘奧會上舉辦擊劍、衝浪和盲人門球等8項體育賽事。

對於原本計劃在奧運會和殘奧會場館週邊地區進行本地游或短途游的遊客來說，此次虛擬旅遊活動旨在為他們提供另一種體驗。

從7月中旬起，千葉縣政府將在其網站上發佈英語、中文和西班牙語的各種旅遊活動。感興趣的人士須在確認所選的活動後透過此網站提交申請。
