東京2020年4月17日 /美通社/ -- 株式會社鐘化（Kaneka Corporation，社長：田中稔(Minoru Tanaka)）已經與富士膠片株式會社（FUJIFILM Corporation，社長：助野健兒(Kenji Sukeno)）達成了協議，將會為抗流感病毒藥物Avigan^®片（通用名：法匹拉韋(favipiravir)）供應原料藥，幫助治療新型冠狀病毒（以下簡稱「COVID-19」）肺炎。

在COVID-19繼續傳播之際，日本政府已經決定為多達200萬人增加其Avigan^®片儲存，而Avigan^®片預計能夠有效遏制COVID-19，富士膠片株式會社已經擴展其生產系統，開始增加Avigan^®片的生產。
