阿聯酋杜拜2019年9月18日 /美通社/ -- 促進人類兄弟情誼高層委員會(Higher Committee of Human Fraternity)的首次會議最近在羅馬天主教會總部所在地梵蒂岡，由教宗方濟各(Pope Francis)主持。在關於團結與和平共處的共同願景的指引下，委員會的首次會議讓這個新近成立的獨立機構的所有成員齊聚一堂。

促進人類兄弟情誼高層委員會最初於今年8月宣佈成立，包含獲得《普世和平及人類兄弟情誼文錄》(Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together)啟發的全球宗教、教育和文化領導人，該文錄由教宗方濟各在今年2月訪問阿聯酋首都阿布扎比期間，與阿扎爾大教長Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayeb長老簽署。

首次會議在梵蒂岡城的聖瑪爾大之家(Casa Santa Marta)舉行，主要是關注建立新機構的組織結構和職權，以及明確認可其作為顧問委員會的獨立地位，使委員會能夠支持邁向促進人類兄弟情誼文錄中所概述的和平共處目標。

教宗會見了委員會秘書處的成員和負責人，並向會員頒發了一份促進人類兄弟情誼文錄。他隨後表達謝意，並稱秘書處的成員為「博愛的工匠」，鼓勵他們提出關於「不僅伸出雙手，還要敞開心扉」的新政策。在獲得聖座國務院副國務卿Edgar Peña Parra蒙席的接見之後，委員會回到聖瑪爾大之家開始工作。

在會議期間，委員會成員任命Miguel Angel Ayuso Guixot蒙席（他是一位耶穌聖心金邦尼傳教會會士(MCCJ)）為委員會主席，並任命Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel Salam為秘書長，還任命Yoannis Lahzi Gaid蒙席、Yasser Hareb和Sultan Alremeithi為執行辦公室成員。委員會成員另外還制定了將能負責監管委員會活動的章程。
