強制脫模可切除從兩個方向「凸起」的毛刺，無需使用滑動構造，便可從模具出彈出。分模線（模唇）消失，實現無毛刺模具。在此之前，PPS 由於易碎，在工程零件的強制脫模中用途有限。

寶理塑料發現，就損壞和變形而言，在高溫環境（對 PPS 來說為150攝氏度）下具有高彎曲斷裂韌性的材料非常適合強制脫模。該公司還發現，透過減少填充劑、增加彈性體和利用高分子量 PPS，有可能改善高溫環境下的斷裂韌性。

寶理塑料已證實，線性 PPS 的斷裂韌性優於交聯 PPS，更加有助於強制脫模。從高溫環境下的韌性這個角度來說，寶理塑料的 DURAFIDE PPS 似乎適用於強制脫模。在 DURAFIDE PPS 材料中，高分子量 1130A1 (GF30%) 和 1140A1 (GF40%) 似乎對強制脫模有用。

寶理塑料認為，DURAFIDE PPS 可提高產品可靠性，強制脫模減少了去毛刺流程，有助於提升設計自由度。DURAFIDE PPS 還具有極強的抗高溫性能，能夠抵抗200至240攝氏度的持續溫度。它的耐化學品性也優於含氟聚合物，且與尼龍66相比空間穩定性更高，而水解率和吸水率更低。
