沙特阿拉伯利雅德2024年10月26日 /美通社/ -- 沙特地質調查局（Saudi Geological Survey，簡稱SGS）今天宣佈發布一批新的地質數據包，進一步豐富其國家地質數據庫（National Geological Database，簡稱NGD）門戶網站。這一里程碑恰逢沙特地質調查局（SGS）成立紀念日，彰顯其致力於透過可靠且全面的地質資訊推動礦業增長的承諾。

新發布的數據包涵蓋了阿拉伯地盾（Arabian Shield）的30%面積。數據包包括了作為「一般地質調查計劃」（General Geological Survey Program）一部分所收集的地表地球化學和航空物理勘測數據。此外，國家核心資料庫（National Core Library，簡稱NCL）鑽探樣本計劃已對超過70公里的核心樣本進行光譜掃描，並對4000多份與礦床位置相關的技術報告進行了數碼化處理。
