新型 Potain MCT 805 配備 32 噸和 40 噸版本，80 m 臂長和 84 m 獨立高度。如此高的獨立高度，源自新開發的加強型 K 標節系統。平衡臂長度不超過 27.3 m，在 80 m 的臂端可實現令人印象深刻的 7.5 t 起重能力，非常適合在狹窄工作場所內提升更重負載。

其回轉機構可以安裝到標準集裝箱中，較同類型塔機可節省 3-4 個集裝箱。同時其設計安裝速度是標準 40 噸起重機的兩倍。使用專用的吊點和連接系統，可實現更快、更簡單的現場組裝。
