在啟動三十年後，2021 年的「世界水週」經過重新設計，以達到最深遠的影響。這個全球領先的水資源會議於 8 月 23 日至 27 日舉行，是一個免費的網上活動，主題是「更快建立復原力」。來自 150 多個國家／地區的參加者將共同建立可採取實際行動的解決方案。
