加速推進普惠型多癌種早篩技術AURORA 2.0實現大規模應用

广州2021年4月19日 /美通社/ -- 在4月10日開始的2021美國癌症研究協會(AACR)年會上，基準醫療展示了升級版一管式甲基化檢測技術AURORA 2.0在胃癌早篩中的研究成果：《A High Performance Blood Test for Gastric Cancer Screening》（Poster 2610）。針對中國發病率排第二位（10.5%），死亡率排第三位（12.4%）的胃癌，升級版AURORA 2.0在胃癌早篩上的整體表現（AUC）為97.4%，在總體和I期胃癌中的敏感性分別為86.7%和為87.5%（特定特異性99%下），兼具高靈敏度和高特異性，同時延續了AURORA原有的實驗週期短、價格低廉的特點。當前胃癌因缺乏有效早篩方法導致其預防和治療十分困難，AURORA 2.0將助力實現胃癌乃至多癌種的早篩早診，造福更多百姓。

研究方法

開展回顧性研究，從5個臨床研究中心收集了109例胃癌血漿樣本和152例正常對照樣本；
基於公共數據庫和基準自有數據庫，制定了標誌物選擇和panel設計策略，這些數據庫包含來自2000多個組織和4000多個血漿樣本的全基因組甲基化分析數據；
建立了一個k-folds交叉驗證模型，並提供了對泛化性能的準確評估。

研究成果

AURORA在胃癌早篩上的整體表現（AUC）為97.4%；
在胃癌上的表現穩健-在特定特異性99%下每個分期的靈敏度見Table 2。
