香港2019年3月14日 /美通社/ -- 作為全球最大的線上訂房領導品牌，Booking.com今天正式公佈2019年科技成就獎得獎名單。今年是第二年舉行此頒獎典禮，専門為表揚一眾以科技改變企業、業界及社會的傑出女性。昨晚在倫敦舉辦的晚宴一共頒發了八個獎項，包括七項獨立範疇獎項、一項企業獎和2019年全年科技成就獎大獎。

得獎者包括研發了地震生還者定位偵測系統的墨西哥企業家；幫助尼日利亞女孩通過科技教育脫離貧窮的非牟利組織創辦人；以及讓女性能在家中測試子宮頸癌的裝置設計者。每位得獎者可獲得5000歐元獎金，而全年科技成就大獎的得獎者則可獲得額外10,000歐元獎金。

來自芬蘭Rails Girls的創辦人Linda Liukas獲頒發2019年全年科技成就獎大獎，此獎項頒發予獨立範疇的得獎者中，對創新科技和全球社會最有傑出貢獻的人。除了成立協助年輕女性學習編寫程式的國際組織Rails Girls外，Linda也是電腦科學兒童圖書Hello Ruby的作者及插畫家，其著作更被翻譯成全球25種語言。
