今年，音樂節將在悉尼中央商務區周邊的五個特色區域舉辦超200場活動。這些活動旨在令人眼前一亮、開拓思維，讓每一位遊客都能以全新視角感受悉尼的獨特魅力。

為吸引更多人參與繽紛悉尼燈光音樂節，今年超75%的活動項目免費開放，包括整條「繽紛燈光步道」(Vivid Light Walk)。闊別七年的馬丁廣場(Martin Place)也重回音樂節活動版圖。

今年，娛樂、美食和流行文化領域的多位世界知名人士將紛紛亮相，如瑪莎-斯圖爾特(Martha Stewart)、Nigella Lawson、尼克-奧弗曼(Nick Offerman)、梅根-莫拉莉(Megan Mullally)以及Portishead樂隊成員Beth Gibbons。

2025年繽紛悉尼燈光音樂節在環形碼頭(Circular Quay)國際客運碼頭啟幕，舉辦了一年一度的「燈光首秀」(First Light)儀式。儀式上，NAISDA舞者獻上表演，向阿納姆地(Arnhem Land)的雍古(Yolngu)文化致敬。下午6點，儀式迎來高潮，悉尼港活力四射，煙火、投影和裝置藝術點亮了這座城市聞名遐邇的建築與地標。隨後，「燈光首秀現場音樂會」(First Light Live)登場，這場免費音樂會旨在致敬原住民音樂的魅力與榮耀。
