花園的設計靈感來源於日本的「裡山」景觀（收穫的田野和村莊周圍的森林），花園中的各種樹木經過精心設計，造型優雅。季節性花卉經過精心佈置，展示了日本的四季變化，有含苞待放的新綠，有秋天的落葉，也有盛開的鮮花。為了表達水的自然流動，花園中心擺放了一個代表「水從源頭湧出」的蹲踞(Tsukubai)。同時，採用了沙紋的枯山水工藝在前景營造出水波蕩漾、河水緩緩流淌的錯覺。花園展示了水流泛起的波光粼粼之美，以及植物在不同時間和季節的不同表現。
