世界首間 AI 大學透過第二次畢業典禮展現其在全球 AI 人才競賽中的相關性

阿聯酋阿布扎比2023 年 6 月 7 日 /美通社/ -- 穆罕默德·本·扎耶德人工智慧大學（Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence，簡稱MBZUAI）在 6 月 4 日為 2023 屆畢業生舉辦了第二次畢業典禮，突顯其在增強全球 AI 人才能力方面的持續努力，並為在健康、教育及氣候方面迫切的挑戰提供解決方案。

典禮在阿布扎比能源中心 (Abu Dhabi Energy Center) 舉行，Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan 殿下；阿聯酋駐約旦大使 Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan 閣下；以及工業及先進科技大臣、阿聯酋 COP28 的候任主席 Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber 博士閣下出席了典禮；在此典禮上，有 59 名學生獲得電腦視覺 (CV) 及機器學習 (ML) 碩士學位，以及有史以來第一批的自然語言處理 (NLP) 學位。MBZUAI 作為世界首間專注於 AI 的研究生研究型大學，根據 CSRankings 的資料，目前在全球 AI 以及這三個關鍵專業領域中排名第 19 位。

在 59 名畢業生中，有 32 位主修機器學習 (ML)，20 位主修電腦視覺 (CV)，7 位主修自然語言處理 (NLP)。2023 屆畢業生包括 25 種國籍的學生，包括中國、阿聯酋、印度、巴基斯坦、哈薩克、匈牙利、意大利、美國及約旦，突顯了該大學吸引世界各地頂尖人才，致力於球場實現多元化及包容性學習環境的承諾。

2023 屆畢業生亦發表了 17 篇學術文章，曾在國際期刊上發佈或在大型國際會議上被接受，包括 IEEE/CVF 的國際電腦視覺與圖型識別會議（Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition，簡稱 CVPR 2023）、物理能源雜誌 (Journal of Physics Energy)，及 IEEE Access 科學期刊。

目前，有 46% 的畢業生已確認就業、被錄取為博士生或正帶薪實習。就業機構包括 Snapchat UK、Abu Dhabi National Oil Company、阿布扎比警方、G42 Healthcare 及 Inception Institute of Artificial Intelligence (IIAI)/G42。
