紐約和新德里2021年4月30日 /美通社/ -- 由印度政府、Mission Innovation 和 RMI 發起的全球聯盟今天宣佈全球製冷獎的得主，這是一項旨在開發超高效和氣候友好型住宅製冷解決方案的國際性創新比賽。珠海格力電器有限公司 (Gree Electric Appliances, Inc.) 與合作夥伴清華大學；以及大金 (Daikin) 與合作夥伴日建設計 (Nikken Sekkei Ltd.) 打破以往公認的效能極限，在入圍決賽的八強中脫穎而出，成為兩位贏家。這些公司生產的原型與現今市場上的標準空調設備相比，帶來的氣候影響少五 (5X) 倍。如果按比例，這些技術可以從現在到 2050 年之間累計防止 132 GT 的二氧化碳排放量，並在本世紀末之前緩解超過 0.5 攝氏度的全球暖化。
