通過將等溫擴增和PNA（肽核酸）檢測探針結合到一起，一般分子檢測方法的分析速度、靈敏度和特異性，能夠借助AQ-TOP技術予以提升，而這對靶標核酸具有高度準確的結合效率。

AQ-TOP COVID-19快速檢測試劑盒利用內源性控制人類RNase P基因，以SARS-CoV-2病毒的ORF1ab基因為靶標。這種試劑盒在3月獲得了CE-IVD標誌，現在正在接受韓國國家食品藥品安全部(MFDS)以及FDA緊急使用授權方面關於批准出口的測試。
