新加坡2021年8月10日 /美通社/ -- Rapyd 今天在 Google Play 商店推出 PromptPay，使泰國全國支付方式能夠支援從 Google Play 商店下載應用程式及在應用程式內購買遊戲、音樂、電影、影片串流、書籍、雜誌及其他內容。Rapyd 是一種全球金融科技即服務平台，藉由與泰國頂尖支付方案業者 GB Prime Pay 合作，支援 Google 在泰國的本地支付。

PromptPay 於 2017 年推出，是泰國相當常用的支付方式。PromptPay 的用戶可以將銀行帳戶與手機號碼或國民身份證連結，進行即時跨行行動支付或轉帳。截至 2020 年 9 月為止，PromptPay 公布的註冊人數有 5,510 萬人（總人口數為 6,900 萬），每日交易量達 2,000 萬筆。 Rapyd 2020 年亞太地區電子商務和支付報告指出，37% 的受訪者過去一個月至少使用過一次。
