2018年6月，位於朝鮮半島南部各省的七座Sansa被列入UNESCO世界遺產。其中包括通度寺、浮石寺、鳳停寺、法住寺、麻谷寺、仙巖寺和大興寺。

這些被群山環繞的韓國傳統寺院因其開放性和對韓國佛教的延續而被列為UNESCO世界遺產。從佛教首次傳入韓國的四世紀起，這些山地佛寺作為信仰和日常宗教實踐的活動場所已經存在了1700多年。
