新德里2018年11月12日電 /美通社/ -- 印度政府、Mission Innovation 和 Rocky Mountain Institute 今天推出全球製冷獎(Global Cooling Prize)國際大賽，旨在找到一種氣候影響比標準室內空調機組至少減少五倍的住宅製冷技術。在為期兩年的比賽中，將頒發逾300萬美元獎金。

在新德里舉行的全球製冷創新峰會(Global Cooling Innovation Summit)上，印度科學技術、地球科學、環境、森林與氣候變化聯合部長 Harsh Vardhan 博士表示：「印度政府大力支持這項創新挑戰，其目標是開發可持續性高效技術，為所有人提供熱舒適，並邀請世界各地的有志之士報名參加全球製冷獎大賽。」
