華盛頓2025年10月29日 /美通社/ -- 《American Journal of Primatology》最近刊登一篇文章，批評國際自然保護聯盟 (IUCN) 對長尾獼猴 (Macaca fascicularis) 最新決定的依據。

2022 年前，IUCN 將長尾獼猴列為「易危物種」保育等級。隨後，IUCN 修改該物種保育等級為「瀕危物種」。2023 年，NABR 提交一份質疑長尾獼猴保育等級的申訴書，而理由是引用不當使用數據。兩年多的審議後，IUCN 大幅忽略 NABR 提出的數據，並確認長尾獼猴的保育等級。

NABR 主席 Matthew R. Bailey 表示：「《American Journal of Primatology》最新刊登文章證實，該物種並非瀕危風險。」他補充說：「這篇文章也再次證實 IUCN 過程依賴的科學存在偏見，並不可靠。
