韓國首爾2023年1月26日 /美通社/ -- 總部位於韓國、擁有超緊湊型CRISPR-Cas工具的生物科技公司GenKOre, Inc.宣佈，該公司與一家總部位於美國的生物製藥公司，達成了戰略研究合作，將會一起開發體內基因編輯療法。這項合作將會利用GenKOre自主研發的CRISPR-Cas平台TaRGET（基於RNA的緊湊型核酸酶/增強基因組編輯技術）。TaRGET平台與當前最廣為流行的基因組編輯技術CRISPR-Cas9不同，能夠利用單一的腺相關病毒(AAV)載體傳送整個編輯模塊。依托自有的TaRGET平台，GenKOre開發了不同模式的編輯工具，包括TaRGET-CUT、TaRGET-Adenine Base Editing（腺嘌呤鹼基編輯，簡稱「ABE」）、TaRGET-AI（基因激活和抑制系統）、TaRGET-FREE（基因敲入）。
