世界衛生組織強烈建議因尚未接種疫苗、年長或正在接受免疫抑制治療等情狀而有高住院風險的輕度和中度新冠肺炎住院患者接受 Nirmatrelvir 和 Ritonavir 的治療。

Hetero 推出的組合包 Nirmacom 將含有 150 毫克 Nirmatrelvir（2 錠）和 100 毫克 Ritonavir（1 錠）。該藥必須有處方箋才能取得，並應在確診罹患新冠肺炎後及在出現症狀後五天內盡快開始使用。Nirmacom 將在 Hetero 的印度工廠生產。
