卡西歐將與TOM'S發佈EDIFICE合作款靈感來自豪華跑車

TOM'S是一支日本頂級賽車隊，參加過日本最著名的比賽，旗下有許多SUPER GT和SUPER FORMULA冠軍。該公司還將其專門為賽車開發的技術應用到售後零部件和定制汽車上。由於TOM'S車隊需要能夠使成員在比賽中分享精確計時的手錶，卡西歐自2013年起就通過EDIFICE成為其贊助商。EDIFICE系列手錶的靈感就來自於賽車運動的世界觀。

作為TOM'S和卡西歐之間的第三次合作，EQB-1100TMS是一款高性能手錶，超薄表殼厚度僅有8.9毫米，設計靈感來自TOM'S的豪華跑車。這款手錶的表盤採用了賽車運動中非常普遍的碳纖維，並以金色的TOM'S標誌、秒針和指示針作為點綴，看起來非常奢華。藍寶石水晶周圍的顏色漸變和6點鐘位置的嵌入式表盤再現了跑車鈦合金排氣尾管的顏色變化，原理是尾氣的熱量會使鈦變藍。每一個細節都是在TOM'S的監督下創造出來，包括黑色離子鍍層的八角形表圈和灰色離子鍍層的表殼和表帶，使這款別緻的手錶和該公司的豪華跑車一樣令人驚艷。
