中國溫州2021年11月18日 /美通社/ -- 為期兩天的2021年世界青年科學家峰會(WYSS)開幕式於11月14日在中國東部的浙江省溫州市落下帷幕。峰會以「匯聚天下英才共創美好未來」為主題，就聯合國2030年可持續發展目標和中國的國家重點戰略進行了深入討論。

世界青年科學家峰會是中國科學技術協會與浙江省人民政府共同發起、聯合主辦的面向全球青年高層次人才的活動，每年舉辦一次。它已成為重要的國際科技活動之一，也是一個匯聚全球資源的創新平台。

國際科學理事會(International Council for Science)主席彼得-格拉克曼(Peter Gluckman)、中國主要流行病學家鍾南山為開幕視頻致辭。

格拉克曼說，科學需要更多更開放的國際交流合作，青年科學家和組織應在其中發揮更大作用。

浙江溫州市政府官員劉小濤表示，溫州以峰會為支點，促進市場主體的創新，以科學成果推動創新。

本屆峰會共計包括生物多樣性保護及生物技術國際論壇(International Forum on Biodiversity Conservation and Biotechnology)、2021韌性城市國際研討會(2021 Resilient Cities International Symposium)等在內的47場線上線下系列活動。
