全新全球電競聯賽 -- 世界超級聯賽（WSL）誕生

韓國首爾2020年12月16日 /美通社/ -- Technoblood（董事長柳日榮）於12月16日正式宣佈啟動其全球電子競技盛事「世界超級聯賽（WSL）」。

WSL年度全球電子競技比賽經擁有全球92個會員國的國際電子競技聯盟（IESF）認證，匯聚全球頂尖電子競技賽事選手。11月30日，WSL在釜山舉行的IESF全球電子競技高峰論壇（GEES 2020）上揭曉全球總決賽賽程。

WSL的口號是「電子競技由你定！（The Esports you Making!）」，意味著這是一場由電競愛好者打造的電子競技賽事。2022年後，將由粉絲投票選出賽事場地、賽事項目和他們想見到的職業電競選手。

WSL通過地區預選賽選拔選手，分為四個賽區：亞洲-大洋洲賽區、美洲賽區、歐洲賽區和中東亞非賽區。預選賽包括公開賽以及職業電競選手或戰隊邀請賽。因為WSL是職業與非職業電競賽事，任何人都可作為業餘電競選手參與公開賽，而職業電競選手或戰隊則是通過粉絲票選角逐邀請賽資格。在年底，粉絲們可以在WSL全球總決賽中看到各分賽區比賽冠軍得主。

首屆賽事將於2021年開始，包含8項賽事項目，包括5項官方項目和3項推廣項目。賽事詳情將於2021年5月左右公佈，首屆全球總決賽將在韓國舉行。總獎金約合45萬美元。

承辦WSL的Technoblood自2002年起成功舉辦了各類電子競技賽事。2002年至2013年，Technoblood是日本世界電子競技大賽（World Cyber Games，WCG）運營合作夥伴，2012年至2016年，Technoblood聯合主辦東京電玩展電子競技大賽Cyber Games Asia（CGA）。此外，Technoblood還積極開展線下卡牌店賽事「Shadowverse Rampage Battle」以及網咖官方電競比賽「Battleground TechnoBlood CUP」等電子競技業務。
