韓國龍仁2020年12月1日 /美通社/ -- Semiconlight(KRX：214310)於1日宣佈，已與中國LED芯片製造商華燦光電簽署倒裝芯片技術許可協議。根據該協議，華燦光電將就特定LED倒裝芯片的設計和銷售向Semiconlight支付專利使用費。

Semiconlight稱其在10月份收到了華燦光電關於獲取倒裝芯片專利許可權的請求。Semiconlight在認真審核後決定與華燦光電簽訂協議。根據協議，第一筆專利使用費將於年內產生。

華燦光電是中國第二大芯片製造商。2016年，華燦光電與Semiconlight成立了一家中國合資企業「Semiconlight China」。2019年,該合資企業入選韓中聯合國際技術開發項目政府項目，並將在2022年之前這段時間內開展「用於下一代顯示器的半導體微LED核心技術的開發和產業化研究」。

Semiconlight的無銀倒裝芯片與現有的水平結構的LED芯片不同，是一種新型倒裝芯片。該技術將LED芯片倒置並直接熔接到基板上，無需單獨進行線焊，可輕鬆應用於超小型LED，因此被認為是新興小型和微型LED顯示器的關鍵技術。目前已知該合同涉及約250項與Semiconlight倒裝LED芯片及其封裝有關的全球註冊專利。
