中國賀州2019年7月13日 /美通社/ -- 由賀州市人民政府主辦的首屆世界長壽論壇暨生命科學大會周五在中國南方的廣西壯族自治區賀州市召開。

大會旨在打造賀州的長壽城市品牌、推進生命科學應用，並促進人類健康長壽。

來自全球醫學、健康與生命科學等領域的專家學者和企業代表共同深入探討，為解決人口老齡化問題提出科學的意見和建議。

廣西壯族自治區政協副主席劉慕仁表示，賀州市以長壽文化著稱，生態稟賦優越。廣西也一直致力於積極推動健康長壽養生養老產業發展。希望通過本屆大會，分享交流國內外的新理念、新舉措和新經驗，助力廣西健康長壽養生養老業發展再上新台階。

美洲國家組織常設理事會主席丹尼斯-安托萬(Denis G. Antoine)表示，健康長壽是世界各國都在關注和研究的重大課題，現在世界人口老齡化問題日益嚴峻。按照聯合國長壽之鄉的制定標准，每100萬人中擁有百歲老人75人，賀州市百歲老人占全市總人口比例高達19.91人/10萬人，已遠遠超出了長壽地區國際標准。
