The Tide是倫敦首個河畔線性公園

倫敦2019年7月4日 /美通社/ -- 洛杉磯概念派藝術家GERONIMO正式開放了倫敦最新河畔公園 -- 格林威治半島的The Tide。該公園大規模安裝了25個充滿活力、色彩鮮豔的充氣水滴，將於7月5日至14日免費面向大眾開放。

這些色彩鮮豔的充氣水滴高度從1米至7米不等，靈感來自附近的海域，跨越紐約高線公園(New York High Line)聯合設計公司Diller Scofido + Renfro設計的五公里文化線性公園第一期的長度。為了慶祝The Tide的開放，將於7月5日至7日和7月12日至14日這兩個週末舉辦免費的文化節Turning Tides Festival，包括現場音樂、藝術、電影、整體健康活動和宴會。文化節期間將表演《I Can Taste You On a Rainy Day》。

水滴裝置打造了華麗的背景，一眾英國和國際知名藝術家將參加該高架公園的文化節。主要陣容包括前Supergrass歌手Gaz Coombes、英國歌手Laura Mvula、格萊美獎得主Oumou Sangare、音樂節目製作人Village Underground、著名異裝表演隊Sink the Pink、倫敦高能量樂隊Melt Yourself Down以及來自小野洋子(Yoko Ono)的參與性願望樹(Wish Trees)藝術裝置。文化節期間還將開設一家快閃影院，由Stevie Parle的CRAFT London（工藝倫敦）提供食物和飲料。

一系列河畔宴會確保賓客能夠吃飽吃好。在藝術家二人檔Studio Morison的海鮮迪斯可野餐餐桌（倫敦最長的野餐桌，長27米）上進行，客席廚師包括Steve Parle的Pastaio、Matt Williamson、Disappearing Dining Club和Studio Morison x Berber Q，提供河畔野餐、大型燒烤大會、海鮮盛宴等。

The Tide面向所有人開放，讓參觀者可以探索意義深遠的藝術作品和設計好奇心。今年夏季亮相的第一批作品包括英國知名藝術家Damien Hirst的《難以置信殘骸中的珍寶》(Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable)的兩個雕塑；英國普普藝術大師Allen Jones的8米藝術作品《Head in the Wind》以及Morag Myerscough的大型虛幻圖案作品《Siblings》。
